Who do you blog for?
Seeing the image above, you already have an idea what I want to talk about. That is, are you blogging for people or search engines? I am just curious to know. When I started to blog here I said to myself that I won’t care about the search engines, that is I will not optimize anything, no good description and I am not even adding alt tags to my images but deep inside while writing my post I keep thinking I should write this or that well so it ranks for whatever keyword (haha!). Probably the fact that I work as a SEO is getting on top of my head and I just can’t help myself optimizing to the least minimum though my main target with this blog is to get a bunch of cool readers who enjoys the same stuffs that I like.
I’ll probably update this post later with more details as it seems to be an interesting topic.

I blog for me firstly
then for readers and then if with that I could get some SE ranking for some keywords, it’s great! 
I don’t often add alt tags to my images though. sometimes i forget. It would be really interesting if you could give us some search engine engine optimisation tips! 
I’ve been doing search engine optimization only recently… but since 90% of my traffic is from search engines, i blog for both.
But i mainly blog for myself.
& yeah, we are all waiting for the SEO tips!

I blog for me only… else I wouldn’t be writing or anything else. I don’t like writing much, makes me think to much
I have a lazy brain and I cater well for its laziness 
But then writing does make me happy :-)
First Guy: He started website/blog without any seo knowledge, updating daily, visiting other blogs and do comments so people get know his blog too… and result will be somewhat like.. SE will follow his sites, will index it, and found it “he even didn’t use title or meta tag” so search engine will pickup random description.. and will make his position but it will take his 2 years atleast or eternity..
Second guy: He know seo, will do On page optimization, and then will update his blogs and to do some link building also. Result will be like, he will get some good rank for his keywords within sort period of time + will get traffic + some new subscribers + some new freinds too..
and seriously whats wrong if you have to follow the same path, since you even know how much seo effect on any site..
Eg: shoemoney.com, doshdosh.com
Both guy writing for himself and talking about marketing strategy too in their blog… so i don’t think so nothing wrong to do seo for your site and yep only procrastination will stop you to find any new excuse

Concerning the SEO tips, hmm I’ll write about it in my future posts, but the best tip I can give you is to read, read and read… SEO blogs, forums and see what others are doing, you always have to update what you already know since SEs are always changing their algos, what worked few months ago may no longer work today.

@ bbZuSh - Sometimes it’s blog like yours that readers like most, people are always curious about what others do, I wanted to blog that way but thought it’ll turn into a diary after some time and since I’ve never had a diary before, I would probably give up blogging.

I blog mainly to express my views, how i see things and also, for me, putting my life online is fun, sharing those pages of my life…

I back off from putting my life online, imo it would be same as a diary that am sharing with the whole world. I’ve never kept a diary before so, I’d probably be out of things to blog about in a few days since my life is not really interesting, I doubt people would like to read about it.
